Description

Founded in 1999, we are the original pioneer of Beitou's "hot spring ramen." We have moved several times over the years. Although confusion arose when, according to our account, a former landlord copied our name and décor and concerns were raised about overcharging at the former location, we have remained true to our commitment to ramen with a distinctive local character. We are among the few ramen shops that still make broth from pork bones every day. Since opening, we have insisted on using locally raised black pigs weighing at least 150 kilograms for our thick-cut braised chashu. We boil pork bones over high heat ourselves to create a natural, pure bone broth, paired with fragrant, specially prepared flash-frozen buckwheat noodles, offering local flavors and soup you can enjoy with confidence. Our interior is handcrafted from environmentally friendly, native Taiwanese cypress. Together with our original interactive "Lucky Bell," we offer more than ramen: we hope to create one of your finest memories of visiting Beitou.
