Long Yue Tang Confectionery was founded in 1932. For many years, they exclusively sold traditional pastries, particularly mooncakes. It wasn’t until the 1960s that they began making bread. With almost a century of history, the third-generation owner of Long Yue Tang has not only preserved the traditional pastry-making techniques but has also incorporated the knowledge gained from studying in Japan into the business.
This integration includes the fusion of baking principles from both Eastern and Western traditions. As a result, Long Yue Tang Confectionery continues to offer nostalgic and classic flavors that keep customers coming back for more.
