Description

The story of Chung Hua Hsuan Foods begins in 1926 at Dadaocheng traffic circle in Taipei when our great-grandfather accidentally stir-fried the dried shredded pork for too long, causing it to become pork floss. Over the years, we have been using freshly-cut ham that hasn’t been refrigerated yet as the main ingredient, and marinate the meat in red wine lees for extra flavor. We have also insisted on making our products based on how many we can actually sell, which means we don’t put them in stock for too long. By doing so, we are able to make sure that the freshness and sweetness of the meat would stay uncompromised. Furthermore, we don’t use any powder or fry the meat in oil to give it a crispy mouthfeel. As a matter of fact, the crispiness and aroma derive from a traditional cooking method that was personally handed down by a veteran cook from Fuzhou. Thanks to that method, our century-old business has remained popular ever since and can be found on every household’s dining table, not to mention being bought as gifts for friends and relatives. After standing strong for nearly a century, we will continue to rock every customer’s nose and taste buds with our delicious foods.
