Four Generations of Craftsmanship Umbrella Makers — Yu Yang Workshop

In 1945, at the end of World War II, Taiwan's first specialty umbrella store was born. Starting as a family-operated workshop, it evolved into a professional manufacturer exporting to Japan, gaining a reputation for exceptional umbrella craftsmanship. Known as "Jian Xing Umbrella," it achieved the pinnacle of the umbrella kingdom, showcasing artisanal pride.
The master craftsman's wooden triangular templates continue to cut out beautifully shaped, three-dimensional umbrellas with meticulous stitching and adherence to Japanese standards. They select durable and aesthetically pleasing fabrics and frames. Formerly renowned under the Tiger brand, the fourth generation has rebranded as "Radiant Handmade."
