Store Transformation in Taipei
【Brand story】
Grandma’s kitchen stove and cabinets are my treasure troves. The woven bag carries not just vegetables but memories of strolling around town, showing off.
Steamers, bamboo baskets, and rice buckets take on entirely new roles. We playfully reenact old traditions. When the City God’s birthday arrived, the tables along the street stretched on and on.
Today, basic ingredients are still here. Now, they’re joined by the colors of music, chess, books, and art. Preparing a table rich with flavors, we adorn everyday life with a sense of nostalgia.
Everyone’s a maker, showcasing their skills, and unleashing their creativity. As Di Hua Street enters its seventh generation, Da Hua Store magically transforms into a wooden coffee shop!
【Key points of transformation】
Transforming from a general store into a grandma’s treasure trove kitchen, specializing in traditional bamboo and wooden kitchenware such as woven bags and steamers. Da Hua Store repositions itself with a fresh perspective as a “Coffee Shop from Bamboo and Wood” and a slogan “Grandma’s Kitchen Transformed.” Embracing the maker culture, it revives traditional daily items with a modern twist and creates a setting that breaks free from the conventional general store image. The result is a brand space that offers both comfort and the joy of treasure hunting, attracting a diverse crowd, including creative individuals and art enthusiasts.
