Description
The Linali Great Tea Settlement was built as permanent housing for the displaced residents affected by Typhoon Morakot. Referred to as Taiwan’s Province, the Association sees a return of young people back to the settlement to engage in works of industry renewal. The Association has developed a diverse and innovative industry and employment opportunities via such approaches as engaging with the elderlies, nourishing talents in the settlements, extending the cultural industry, while attracting domestic and overseas visitors that are fond of roaming & travelling and experiencing Aboriginal culture. Available for booking are experiential home-stay, conference & meeting rooms, dining service, DIP sampling, Royal blessing and guided tour of the settlement culture. The Association was in 2015 submitted by the Maolin National Scenic Area Management Office to serve as the “Information Station” under the Tier-4 i-Center Travel Service System of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Tourism Bureau. As an “Information Station”, the Association offers tourists friendly travel consultation and various friendly services.
