Description

The National Taiwan Museum was founded in 1908, and is the oldest Museum of Natural History in Taiwan to date. Its architectural adopts the ancient Greek Doric structure from the renaissance period. Its magnificent architectural style and elegant classical statue crafts is a rare treasure in recent years in Taiwan. It has been granted the status of a "national historic site" internally in 1998. The Taiwan Museum stood witness to the changes in natural and cultural in Taiwan, and has over 110,000 items in its collection, including Taiwan's most precious animal, plant, and geological samples, as well as the most essential ethnic anthropological artifacts. It is the window for the general public to get to know Taiwan in depth.
