Description
The end of 2016 marks the 91 years of service for the National Palace Museum. It has since become a international-standard modern museum. It does not only continue to provide the energy for researches and promotions, it also commits to collecting items. Currently there are almost 700,000 items in the collection, making it the top museum in Chinese relics. In recent years, the National Palace Museum has been committed to promoting the National Digital Archives Program, creating an new face for the collections via digital technology. This not only enlivens the museum, but also makes it the diversified role of an innovative value for an new-era museum in the Cultural and Creative Industries. In the future, the National Palace Museum will have both northern and southern branches in operation. It will continue to adopt cultural education as its core principle, and speak to the globe, at the height of the world, from the basis of Taiwan.
