BUNA is Ethiopian for “beans.” Today, Ethiopian families still maintain their traditional social custom, using “coffee” to bring their families and friends together. The 3-hour-coffee preparation process includes coffee roasting, grinding, and cooking, symbolizing a solemn sense of ceremony.
