Founded in 1957, Black Bridge was the first company to refine the traditional dry, salty Cantonese sausage sold on the market in Taiwan into the succulent, tender Taiwanese delicacy of today. The unique flavors of the sausage became an instant hit in Taiwan over 6 decades ago. Now, people are seen queuing outside stores during Chinese New Year waiting to purchase their products. Besides a selection of over a dozen sausages in the store, there is also a plethora of delicious meat products such as pork/beef jerky and fried pork fibers. Black Bridge stores have received domestic and foreign media interviews on several occasions, and Hong Kong food critic Chua Lam and his travel companions have also made purchases in the store.
