Founded in 1957, Black Bridge was the first company to refine the traditional dry, salty Cantonese sausage sold on the market in Taiwan into the succulent, tender Taiwanese delicacy of today. The unique flavors of the sausage became an instant hit in Taiwan over 6 decades ago. Now, people are seen queuing outside stores during Chinese New Year waiting to purchase their products. Black Bridge sausages have not only become a legend of gastronomy in the country but also the premier brand of contemporary Taiwanese sausages. 
Besides a selection of over a dozen sausages in the store, there is also a plethora of delicious meat products such as pork/beef jerky and fried pork fibers. These are all quintessential Taiwanese delicacies. Recently launched new products, including crisp pork jerky, grilled pork jerky, and fried pork fiber biscuits are proving to be extremely popular among younger customers, and they have become Black Bridge’s hottest sellers. 
Black Bridge stores have received domestic and foreign media interviews on several occasions, and Hong Kong food critic Chua Lam and his travel companions have also made purchases in the store. Signature products include Taiwanese black hog sausage, Taiwanese black hog pork jerky, and sausage buns. Other Taiwanese specialties in the store include pineapple cake and bean paste cake etc. are all quintessential Taiwanese snacks.
