Description
Lishan Artifac Museum was founded in 1971, located in Lishan toward the Fushoushan farm. It primarily exhibits the pioneering history of the central area, The Atayal aboriginal culture, and the natural ecology of the Lishan area. Lishan Artifact Museum opens daily from 9AM to 5PM. Guests can make reservations for a guided tour. There are two floors to the museum. On the right of the first floor is the "Central Cross-Island Highway Pioneering History Memorial Hall," which keeps a record of the feats and histories of the construction of the highway. On the left is the "Central Cross-Island Highway Geography and Topography Hall," which depicts the ecology from Taroko to Guguan. The second floor exhibits the culture and traditional buildings of the Atayal tribe-the aboriginal tribe living in the Lishan area.
