The president of Yannick, Wu Tsung-en, founded the brand, which he named after his French name "Yannick”. In 2000, he started his career as a dessert manufacturer. Then in 2002, he returned to his hometown, Wanli, to open up a shop. The small cake shop in Wanli, a remote place, attracted queues of people, and even became a subject of media coverage. He ventured into Neihu District, Taipei City in 2004, and his shops were still full of customers, creating a miracle in the Taiwanese cake industry. With the brand spirit of "sharing, and making hearts melt", Yannick upholds the philosophy of its business, which is to never take shortcuts, never stint ingredients, make food fresh and sell them fresh.
